Monster Sport Europe, the team that runs Andersson and Wilks,
is based in Milton
Keynes, England, under the guidance of team manager Risto Laine. Risto is a Finn
who grew up with rallying, and he is one of seven people who work full-time for
MSE. On rallies, this number grows to 18.MSE was founded at the beginning of 2002,
with the specific aim of running Suzuki's cars in the Junior World Rally Championship.
Since then, it has gone from strength to strength, with a staff and management
restructure designed to cater for the transition from seven to 16 World Championship
events. |

In addition to the cars for Andersson and Wilks, Kosti Katajamaki
and Urmo Aava will each drive an Ignis Sport run by Suzuki Sport Europe throughout
the 2005 Junior World Rally Championship season.
Suzuki Sport Europe, wholly owned by the Suzuki Motor Corporation, is based in
Esztergom, Hungary, where the Ignis road car is built. SSE prepares customer versions
of the Ignis rally cars, and has around 20 employees. This year, the team will
be entering all the JWRC rounds apart from Mexico with Katajamaki and Aava. |
